Summary
The Knaus ranch is about 15 miles SW of Abilene, Texas and located on the Callahanridge at an altitude of about 2400' above sea level.
Our hunts are for groups only. We can handle a minimum of 3 Hunters and up to a maximum of 6 hunters to make a reservation. All of our rooms are set up for two hunters per room, in a first class bunk house. Everything is furnished including linens, food, transportation, blinds, and feeders. We also have e-mail and web available on broadband.
The cost for White tail deer hunting for the fall Season of 2008 is $830 per day per person or a total of $ 2490 each for a minimum of three days and four nights. This includes kill fees for two does, and two Rio Grande turkeys, and one buck 8 points or less. Our buck kill charges are based on size. Spikes are no charge, ten points are $1200, twelve points are $1800.
We do have free varmint hunting that includes, fox, skunks, coons, and bobcats.
